Drafts: Federal Action Plan on Nature-based Solutions for Climate and Biodiversity

Nature-based Solutions for climate and biodiversity (NbS) will play a substantial role in achieving the German government’s climate and biodiversity goals and in measures to adapt to the impacts of the climate crisis. They will therefore significantly contribute to general crisis prevention in Germany. For that reason, the German government’s coalition agreement envisages the development of an Action Plan on Nature-based Solutions for Climate and Biodiversity. The BMUV Key Issues Paper lays the foundations for this Action Plan.
