G7 2022

The German G7 Presidency 2022

“Progress towards an equitable world” is the theme the Federal Government has selected for the German G7 Presidency 2022. The goal is to consolidate the partnership of common values among the G7 states and work together for progress on multilateral cooperation, social cohesion and key global challenges. Germany would like to use its G7 Presidency to take a strong position and set ambitious goals for better climate action and environmental protection.

On 26 and 27 May, G7 climate, energy and environment ministers met in Berlin.
